13h30: Conférence de presse: Action-Gardien, Montréal à vélo et Vélo-libre
14h00: Parade à vélo dans le quartier avec musique et clowns
15h00: Goûter et atelier de réparation de vélos

VENEZ EN VÉLO! Amenez des cossins pour faire du bruit!

*pour savoir si l’activité est remise au lendemain, vérifier le calendrier du CSA le samedi matin.

Le projet vélo-libre du Centre social autogéré (CSA) de Pointe-Saint-Charles a deux volets:

Offrir un système de vélos gratuits pour le quartier
Des vélos peinturés aux couleurs du CSA seront stationnés sur des supports installés à des endroits stratégiques du quartier
Les gens du quartier pourront emprunter ces vélos pour faire leurs déplacements
Des panneaux de signalisation seront installés aux sorties du quartier invitant les utilisateurs et utilisatrices des vélos à les ramener à la Pointe

Offrir des ateliers de réparation de vélos

Les gens du sud-ouest pourront amener leurs vélos et apprendre comment les réparer
D’ici le 29 mai les ateliers seront organisés ponctuellement dans le parc Saint-Gabriel… après le 29 mai le projet aura ses locaux au sein du Centre social autogéré (lieu à déterminer).

BRING YOUR BIKE! Bring a noisemaker!

The vélo-libre project of the Autonomous Social Center (ASC) of Point St. Charles has two parts:

To offer a system of free bikes for the neighbourhood

Bikes painted with the colours of the ASC will be parked on racks installed in strategic places in the neighbourhood.
People will be able to borrow the bikes to get around.
Road signs will be posted at all the exits of the neighbourhood inviting bicycle users to bring the bikes back to the Point.

To offer bike repair workshops

People from the area will be able to bring their bikes in and learn how to fix them
From now until May 29th, we will be organizing workshops once in a while in St. Gabriel’s park… after the 29th, the workshops will happen in our permanent space at the Autonomous Social Center (address to be announced).
